Daddy's Little Girl

Aly now officially behaves like Daddy's Little Girl. As of Sunday, it has been Daddy this and Daddy that... She only wants Daddy to feed her whenever I'm around. Also whenever I call home she wants to 'talk' to me. Kisses are also 'easier' to get from her. Previously, I practically had to beg her for a kiss, now, she kisses Daddy out of the blue.

Last Sunday we took Aly to The Curve for lunch. This was the first time she would go out wearing a cap. Usually she would immediately remove a cap or hat put on her head. Whilst we were at Ikano Aly took photos for a baby competition. Initially, Aly wouldn't smile but after awhile it wasn't an issue anymore. Hopefully, she does well in her first competition.

Becoming An Individual

Aly is now very much becoming her own person. She has learnt how to throw a tantrum, get mad, cry for attention and rebel in her own way. She has also learnt to play politics with me. Her timing on when to call, hug or kiss daddy is imaculate. Just at the right time to make daddy 'melt'. Nevertheless, I think she is afraid whenever I raise my voice a bit or show her that I'm angry. Below are some photos of the various emotions of Aly.

Also Aly is eating less now. This is mainly because she just want to feed herself. It alright if she can scoop the food and find her mouth but in most cases only the floor gets to taste the food. When assistance is provided by either Mommy or Daddy, the result is often similar to the Aly the Crybaby photo above.

Words

According to the Chinese horoscope, Alyssa was born in the year of the Rooster. Now that she is starting to form words, she is also talking alot. Pretty much like a rooster. Anyway, below are the words she can say. Although some of the pronounciation is not perfect, if you spend enough time with her you can understand.

daddy, mommy, bibik (nanny), nenek (grandma), NO!!, nak (yes), cheese, bread, doll, teddy, car, tree, moon, star, kiss, banana (she calls all fruits banana), ... will add more when i remember..
